The Front Office Department is looking for a confident full time Receptionist to provide our guests with outstanding service in this stunning hotel.

The Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel, part of The Red Carnation Hotel Collection, is a beautiful four star hotel located in London’s Mayfair. This wonderful hotel features 107 individually designed bedrooms and suites, a sumptuous lounge area, award-winning restaurant and fantastic bar area. The Front Office Department is looking for a confident full time Receptionist to provide our guests with outstanding service in this stunning hotel.

Key responsibilities of the Receptionist will include:

  • Checking guests in and out according to the law and hotel standards
  • Compiling guests accounts and fulfilling administrative duties
  • Handling reservation enquiries
  • Acknowledging regular guests and VIP’s and their requirements
  • Reconciling banking at the end of each shift
  • Ensuring that the reception area is clean and tidy at all times

The ideal candidate for the Receptionist position should:

  • Have similar experience in a four star hotel
  • Display a positive and professional attitude at all times
  • Be an excellent team player
  • Command a good level of English
  • Be enthusiastic in delivering excellent customer service

We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic applicants who are willing to learn. Previous experience within a hotel reception is desirable, but not essential. You need to be flexible to work an early, middle or late shift, five days out of seven.
