We now have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive at the Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel, part of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection.
The Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel is a stunning 4 star deluxe hotel located in fashionable Mayfair, London. This property has 107 individually styled bedrooms, seven meeting rooms, a warm and intimate restaurant and a sumptuous Bar and Conservatory, where we are offering our guests a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
This is a proactive sales role, where you will work towards weekly and monthly deadlines and be keen to identify new business. You will report into the Director of Sales on a daily basis and work closely with the General Manager and Vice President of Sales.
This role earns a base salary of £18,000 per annum. There is a clearly defined, business results related, bonus scheme in place between £3,000 - £8,000 per annum, paid monthly on monthly performance targets. Meals on duty are provided.
Key responsibilities of the Sales Executive will include:
- 15 face to face client meetings per week to develop existing accounts and potential new business
- Maintaining efficient sales office procedures
- Responding to sales leads
- Assisting in the creation of the Sales and Marketing plan
- Ensuring prompt and systematic servicing of all business accounts
- Identifying and analysing local competition
The ideal candidate for the Sales Executive position should:
- Have previous experience in a similar role within a four or five star hotel or venue
- Have an excellent command of written and spoken English
- Be able to prioritise and perform well under pressure
- Have attention to detail
- Have a friendly and professional attitude
