The run is known for its carnival atmosphere and family appeal, with an accompanying race called Pulse3K designed specifically to encourage youngsters to get active. Around £11 million has been raised for 365 charities since the event debuted in 2008, while attendees will also be able to savour delicious treats at the Food & Fitness Festival that runs alongside it.
