The Royal Academy of Arts will host a special performance by violin virtuoso Clare Connors on November 17th 2012.

Entitled Big, Small and Sideways, the show is part of the 2012 London Jazz Festival and will see her performing in a trio with fellow violinist Thomas Toms and cellist Nick Cooper.

For this new concert, Connors and co will reinvent some of Carla Bley's works for big band with new arrangements for a small string ensemble, offering a dramatic new take on familiar material.

Connors is an internationally renowned performer and composer who has worked with acts such as David Byrne, Spiritualised and Dagmar Krause, and has seen her music used in a variety of international films.

This movie connection could make this an ideal event for guests at The Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel, which is offering a James Bond Goes Undercover in Mayfair package from October 26th to November 26th.

It provides those staying at the luxury London hotel with tickets to see 007's latest adventure Skyfall in the cinema, plus special Bond-inspired Martinis for two.
