Same Old, Same Old at the Royal Academy of Arts

  • Category: Art & Culture
  • Dates: Saturday, 02 February 2013 to Sunday, 26 May 2013

Commencing next month, the Royal Academy of Arts will host a thought-provoking exhibition called Same Old, Same Old, courtesy of artist Blue Firth.

The avant-garde thinker is aiming to encourage audiences to question how art and architecture can affect the functions of spaces, while calling attention to their roles in forming myth and history.

Through a series of interactive elements, audio installations, patterns, codes and ciphers, luxury London hotel guests who attend will be challenged to reinterpret the design features and history of the Architecture Space venue.

Running from February 2nd to May 26th 2013, the exhibition is open 10:00 to 18:00 every day except Friday, when closing time is at 22:00.

This could be an ideal attraction for those enjoying a Mayfair Weekends package at The Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel, with perks such as full English breakfasts, an afternoon tea for two and a late 18:00 departure time.

Guests will also receive complimentary Champagne, Wi-Fi access and newspapers.
