Kids can get involved in a programme of fun outdoor activities courtesy of the forthcoming Water World event taking place in Hyde Park on August 6th 2013.

To be held at the Isis Education Centre, Water World allows parents to drop off youngsters between the ages of seven and 11, with the Royal Parks Foundation's experienced teaching team providing them with a day of exciting events.

Participants will learn how to use nets, water-scopes, magnifying glasses and microscopes to find out more about creatures living underwater, before visiting the birds of the Serpentine Lake, getting involved in water-themed games and seeing the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain.

Tickets for Water World cost £30 and the activities get underway at 10:00 BST, wrapping up in the mid-afternoon at 15:00.

This could be ideal for families enjoying a Mayfair Summer deal at The Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel, which includes perks such as complimentary Champagne, daily English breakfasts and a late 18:00 checkout time.

Luxury London hotel guests will also receive a special afternoon tea themed around the new West End show Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
