Category: Art & Culture Date: Monday, 01 January 0001 London and Paris are two of the finest cities in which to stay in a luxury hotel and this autumn a new exhibition gives you the chance to combine them. On October 26th, the Royal Academy unveils 'Daumier (1808-1879): Visions of Paris', presenting the works the 19th century painter created of his home city. Many of the 130 works on show have never been seen in the UK before and the organisers promise that visitors will experience visions of Paris 'to live long in the memory'. Tickets for the event cost £11 for adults including gift aid and £6 for children aged between 12 and 18. Located close by to the Royal Academy is the luxurious Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel where you can currently take advantage of its 'Mayfair Weekends' package, which enables you to check out as late as 6pm on your day of departure - giving you even more time to enjoy London's museums.
