To celebrate the opening of the musical Charlie and The Chocolate Factory at London’s Drury Lane Theatre, our Executive Chef has transformed into Willy Wonka and working hard in the Inventing Room has turned our Traditional Afternoon Tea into confectionery heaven. Roald Dahl’s tale of candy canes, chocolate and everlasting gobstoppers has filled the dreams of delighted children everywhere. Join us at The Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel this summer as we welcome you to take a seat and thrill your tastebuds with our Charlie and The Chesterfield Afternoon Tea.
Summer Cocktails
Summer is here and with the lighter evenings and warmer daytime we look for new ways to find refreshment. Our Bar Manager Paul would like to welcome you to take a seat and discuss the day while sipping a refreshing cocktail. The Summer Drinks menu has all the old favourites such as Pimm’s but also makes a nod to the flowering beauty of nature with Hibiscus and Elderflower Refresher and the heady scent of rich and ripening fruit with a Peach Bellini.
Dessert of the season - Eton Mess
Thought to have been first served when a fruit meringue was knocked over by an over enthusiastic Labrador as it’s owners were taking a picnic to Eton College, Eton mess is a swirl of cream, crushed strawberries and meringue pieces and is a salute to the British summer. We are pleased to include this delicious dessert as part of our table d’hôte menu this summer and have packed it full of ripe English strawberries for you to enjoy.
