Masterpieces from the Louvre

Event: Masterpieces from the Louvre - The Wallace Collection, Hertford House
Date: February 14th 2008 until May 8th 2008

This February, guests of luxury London hotel the Chesterfield Mayfair can choose to visit The Wallace Collection in Hertford House where Masterpieces from the Louvre: The Collection of Louis La Caze will be showing until May.

Between February 14th and May 8th 2008, the exhibition will be on display, which coincidentally is the first collaboration between the Wallace Collection and the Musee du Louvre.

Included in the display will be Ribera's 1942 painting Le Pied-Bot, or The Boy with the Club Foot, described by the gallery as "one of the masterpieces of 17th century Spanish painting".

Visitors from nearby luxury hotel the Chesterfield Mayfair can also look forward to viewing 18th century French paintings by Boucher, Chardin, Fragonard, Lancret, Nattier, Pater, Rigaud and Watteau.
