Following last year's wet UK summer it is likely that a number of Britons will be seeking refuge on the sunny shores of the Mediterranean this coming July.

And guests staying at luxury London hotel the Chesterfield Mayfair will have the chance to get ahead of the holidaying pack if they attend A Place in the Sun Live at the exhibition space at the ExCel Centre this April.

Presented by Channel 4's Amanda Lamb, the A Place in the Sun Live exhibition in association with Moneycorp looks to assist people who are looking for their dream property in the sun.

This could appeal to guests of luxury hotel the Chesterfield Mayfair who are looking for an investment, an "idyllic" holiday home, ahead of a permanent move abroad or for a retirement property.

London Town reveals that there will be over 200 overseas property exhibitors on hand to deal with all queries while a programme of free seminars by independent experts on aspects related to finance, tax and property law will be available.

Information on culture of overseas regions including music, dancing and food in the form of a market featuring a boulangerie and a tienda will be included in the event.
