Fans of stage musicals and classic films will be no doubt delighted to discover that Trevor Nunn's new musical Gone With The Wind is coming to London's West End this spring season.
Opening on April 22nd and running right through to September 27th 2008, Gone With the Wind is set to wow audiences, likely to include guests staying at luxury London hotel the Chesterfield Mayfair.
Theatre-goers can look forward to reliving the story of seventeen-year-old Scarlett O’Hara, the eldest child out of three daughters who lives a luxurious life on her father's plantation in Atlanta Georgia in the 1860s.
Guests of luxury London hotel Chesterfield Mayfair can experience the upheaval that follows President Lincoln's demand for the end of slavery and the following Civil War.
Although widely remembered in its 1939 box office record breaking incarnation - it made history as the highest grossing film of all time - Gone with the Wind was born as a Pulitzer-prize winning novel penned by Margaret Mitchell in 1936.
Widely regarded as a classic American tale in any of its formats, this show is definitely worth catching at New London Theatre.
