Cirque du Soleil - Delirium

Event: Cirque du Soleil - Delirium at the O2 Arena
Date: April 18th and 19th 2008

Created and directed by Michel Lemieux and Victor Pilon, guests staying at luxury London hotel the Chesterfield Mayfair will not want to miss Cirque du Soleil's latest show Delirium when it travels into town next month.

Taking place at London's O2 Arena from April 18th until April 19th 2008, the event is described as "multifaceted" and of "unprecedented proportion".

"Go for the sheer showiness," LondonTown advises, noting that the show includes a "frenzy" of "lightening-quick" dance moves as well as dream-like sequences.

Expect an array of singers and dancers performing to an urban tribal beat from musicians to a range of "awe-inspiring" visual backdrops.

Cirque du Soleil, which is French for "circus of the sun" originated in Canada in the 1980s and first appeared in the UK a decade later.

A twist on the traditional circus, those watching from luxury hotel the Chesterfield Mayfair can anticipate seeing stunning acrobatic displays and breathtaking aerial balancing acts.
