48 Minutes for Palestine at the Lyric Hammersmith

Event: 48 Minutes for Palestine
Date: January 15th until January 17th

Get ready for a play without words but one which speaks volumes.

Only two performers take part in Mojisola Adebayo's 48 Minutes for Palestine and you do not hear a single word from them, but what they say through acting will resonate around the Lyric Theatre.

Those who like their shows to be powerful and dramatic will not want to miss it and by booking a suite at the luxury London hotel the Chesterfield Mayfair, visitors can rest assured they have secured top-class accommodation.

During the play, attendees will be transported back to 1948 and given an insight into the relationship between Israel and Palestine, told through music and dance but with not a single word spoken by either of the protagonists.

Lebanese choreographer Omar Rajeh is responsible for the movement of the characters, while Sudanese DJ Ahmed Akasha will be in charge of the sound and Iraqi Rajha Shakiry will provide the set design.

The production lasts for 48 minutes but in that period of time, attendees will witness a dramatic and moving play focussing on a particular moment of the tumultuous relationship between Israel and Palestine.

Since it is such a short event, guests at the Chesterfield can head back to the hotel and enjoy some of the perks provided by the hotel's Mayfair Suites package, including a complimentary bottle of champagne plus much more.
