Three Days of Rain at the Apollo Theatre

Event: Three Days of Rain
Date: January 30th until May 2nd

Stars of the screen will take to the stage next month when the Apollo Theatre hosts Three Days of Rain, a play which examines how the actions of one generation are interpreted by the next.

James McAvoy, star of The Last King of Scotland, and Nigel Harman, from Eastenders fame, will play the roles of Walker Janeway and Pip in Richard Greenberg's production.

Ned Janeway is an internationally-renowned architect, whose legacy consists of a 1960s New York house which he designed with his late business partner Theo.

Following his death, his children Walker and Nan reunite to read their father's will and are joined by Theo's son Pip.

Since childhood, the three offspring have been close and the trio put their heads together to work out how best to settle the estate and decide the best future for the iconic house.

All is proceeding well until they find a journal entry with the words Three Days of Rain scrawled down.

What they proceed to read will shake them to their cores and give them an insight into the story of the previous generation, a tale which they could not have imagined in their wildest dreams.

Attendees can look forward to an evening of mystery, suspense and drama, however, guests at the luxury London hotel the Chesterfield Mayfair will find none of that, just comfort, warmth and immaculate surroundings.

Visitors who opt for the Mayfair Weekends package can enjoy a complimentary bottle of champagne for after the show, as well as a full English breakfast and traditional afternoon tea the next day.
