Event: Handel the Philanthropist
Date: January 16th until June 28th
The 250th anniversary of George Handel's death will be celebrated with an extensive exhibition into his work as a composer and also as a human being and member of society.
He may be famous for his influence as a Baroque musician, with several acclaimed operas and ontarios to his name, but he was also a charitable man who endeavoured to improve the world around him.
Visitors from outside the capital keen to learn more about the man and the composer should ensure they have suitably high-class accommodation secured.
A suite at the luxury London hotel the Chesterfield Mayfair will provide guests with all the comfort they need.
By choosing the Mayfair Suites package, couples can enjoy a complimentary bottle of champagne, a three-course table d'hote lunch for two as well as chocolates and flowers.
With sleeping arrangements taken care of, visitors can enjoy the exhibition and gain an insight into Handel's work and life away from music.
There will be several works of art and other historical artefacts on show while a series of concerts and events will take place to celebrate the composer's life and achievements.
