Once again, there is no shortage of things to do in the capital this weekend, with the International Gypsy Swing Guitar Festival one highlight.
Taking place at Le QuecumBar in south west London, the Gypsy festival will draw visitors from far and wide for nine days of concerts and workshops featuring some of Europe's finest swing and jazz musicians.
The event marks the centenary of Django Reinhardt, one of the finest Gypsy musicians of all time and an inspiration for many of the scene's most popular performers.
Visitors who would prefer a night at the theatre instead are spoilt for choice, with two very special productions on this weekend.
The first is a reworking of the Chekhov classic Three Sisters, which takes place at the Lyric Hammersmith.
It follows the story of the Prozorov family who have become disillusioned with life in a small village and yearn to return to the bustling metropolis that is Moscow.
A combination of creative staging, evocative physicality and clever sound make this tale of hopes and dreams a thoroughly entertaining piece of theatre.
The second stage show recommended is Enron, a tale of one of the biggest corporate scandals ever seen and one which sheds light on the current financial plight the world finds itself in today.
However, it is not a two-hour session of number crunching and accounting, but rather a tragic and savage comedy following a group of men and women living in a world of greed and corruption who get their comeuppance.
Sports fans can look forward to seeing top of the table Chelsea take on Steve Bruce's Sunderland side at Stamford Bridge.
With the likes of Michael Essien and Salomon Kalou away on international duty, it is a chance for some of the club's young stars to step up to the plate and make a name for themselves.
Whichever option visitors ultimately decide on, they will not be disappointed and neither will they be let down with the experience they get at the luxury London hotel the Chesterfield Mayfair.
Those who opt for the Mayfair Weekends package can enjoy a complimentary bottle of Champagne, traditional afternoon tea for two, a full English breakfast each day, a late checkout and much more.
