They do a cracking roast rib of beef at this paneled restaurant hidden away at the back of the Chesterfield Hotel. Prices are extremely modest given the quality of the food and the very gracious service is a throwback to a time when nightingales still sang in neighbouring Berkeley Square.  If it’s on the menu, try the lemon posset for pudding.
