The Chicago Rib Shack is back as part of London life. The place has been lovingly restored and parts of it, such as the original Rib Shack metal sign, are still in use today. The light fittings are reclaimed from Smithfield Meat Market along with the meat hooks used to hang the pictures. The food is prepared using the original 25-year-old recipes and the meat is sourced from animals living on free-range farms. For families there is a great kids menu, which they can colour in as well. A definite must for your trip to London.

When it comes to luxury shopping in one of the loveliest areas in central London, nothing beats New Mayfair. In 2008 alone, top international names such as Christian Louboutin, Balenciaga, perfumer Annick Goutal, and beauty brand Aesop have joined trailblazer Marc Jacobs on Mount Street, while men's labels such as Alfred Dunhill and newcomer Harrys of London have surfaced on nearby New Mayfair streets. So whats the appeal of this corner of Mayfair? The Mount Street area offers the best and most romantic of English tradition, such as Thomas Goode, Mount Street Stationers, William & Son and Allen's Butchers. The hotel coincidently purchases their fresh meat daily from Allen's. Prepare to be dazzled as the area becomes host to some exciting new names.
