Jonathan Raggett has worked in hotels since leaving Westminster College with a Higher National Diploma in Hotel Management. Jonathan joined RCH in 1998 as General Manager of The Rubens Hotel. In 2000 he was promoted to Managing Director, overseeing the rapid expansion to the 17 award-winning luxury boutique hotels and a country inn which RCH now operates. In November 2009, Jonathan Raggett was delighted to be named Hotelier of the Year at the world-renowned Hotel Catey Annual Industry Awards organised by the Caterer & Hotelkeeper.

For me and for my colleagues that’s not just a job, it’s a passion! I have been with the Red Carnation Group since 2010 having also worked in hotels in Ireland and Switzerland. I graduated from Shannon College, Ireland with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma in International Hotel Management. I am confident that along with my brilliant team we can make the Chesterfield Mayfair your home away from home and as we Irish would say give you a real “Céad Míle Fáilte”.

I began my career in a small Italian restaurant, before moving on to The Chesterfield Mayfair, where I worked for four years, learning and developing my culinary skills with a great team. I then moved across to Paris and worked in some of the top French restaurants gaining a wealth of experience, before returning to The Chesterfield Mayfair once again. I now proudly lead the team as the Executive Head Chef and am excited to be working with the very finest seasonal British ingredients for you to enjoy!

I have spent the last 20 years working in London hotels within various concierge departments. I joined The Chesterfield Mayfair team in September 2000 where I worked my way up the concierge ladder and was promoted to Head Concierge in October 2006. It gives me great pleasure to lead my concierge team, who are fully committed in providing each individual guest with a warm, friendly and attentive service.

Internationally acclaimed hotelier Terry Holmes, winner of the 2006 Caterer Tourism Award, joined Red Carnation Hotels in February 2006, bringing with him his incredible passion for the hospitality industry. His tremendous career ranges from a chef to Vice President in the luxury hotel business.
A much loved character at each of the hotels in the Red Carnation collection, his presence together with his expertise further strengthens our guests' experience.

I started my career with Red Carnation in 2005 at the Egerton House Hotel and over the years I have grown with this brilliant company progressing through the ranks. In 2012, I left this fabulous hotel in order to gain experience elsewhere and then joined the team at the Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel. Working in hospitality has allowed me to fulfil my passion of meeting and caring for people and it gives me great pride to provide the highest levels of comfort for our guests, ensuring they feel they are in a home from home. My aim is to develop our relationships with all our existing and new customers

I began my career in hospitality at a small Italian restaurant and bar in Mayfair, before joining the Chesterfield Mayfair hotel 5 years ago. Starting out as Head Bartender in the Terrace Bar, my passion has always been focused on creating memorable experiences for our guests. I am proud to have introduced many new concepts to the Terrace Bar at The Chesterfield including molecular cocktails, whiskey nosing and tasting and gin and Jazz evenings. Today as Food & Beverage Manager I am lucky to lead a talented team who are committed to ensuring our guest experience is the very best.

I started my career at The Savoy Hotel in London where I spent 5 years after gaining my Bachelors degree in International Hospitality Business Management. Since joining The Chesterfield Mayfair and Red Carnation Hotels I have enjoyed the family culture and the unique style that each of these boutique luxury hotels offer. As Front of House Manager I am privileged to lead a warm and engaging team who like I, share a passion for delivering the best possible hotel experience and the highest levels of service for our new and returning guests. I have been at The Chesterfield Mayfair since 2004, prior to this I was at The Savoy Hotel for 7 years, also as Restaurant Manager. In 2008, I was awarded the prestigious title of 'Hotel Restaurant Manager of the Year' by The Caterer & Hotelkeeper, and in January 2009 I was shortlisted in the 'Best Front of House' category in the Tatler Restaurant Guide 2009, another great achievement.
