The history of World Bartender Day

World Bartender Day is observed annually on 24^th February. This date was chosen to coincide with the birth anniversary of Jerry Thomas, widely regarded as the father of modern mixology. Born in 1830, Thomas was a pioneering bartender known for his showmanship and the publication of the first-ever bartending guide, "How to Mix Drinks or The Bon Vivant's Companion".

The celebration of World Bartender Day has now gained global recognition, with events, promotions, and gatherings taking place in bars, restaurants, and hospitality establishments around the world.
